Building a 5-Foot Rail Fence

Included in the HighPlains ranch rail fence system are specially engineered 'all-in-one' modern extruded aluminum metal posts, ideal for building fences in 4-foot and 5-foot heights. The standard HighPlains rail fence kit includes: universal posts shaped like an 'H', special 90-degree corner posts, end caps and post caps. Recommended fence post spacing is 8-foot on center.

Combining the HighPlains metal fence post with rough cut cedar creates an excellent pairing. Each metal rail fencing component is powder coated to ensure durability. This rail fence makes a popular child-friendly and pet-friendly yard or perimeter fence when combined with black chain link fencing.
